To succeed in the 21st century classroom -- students are required to THINK. They must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills. They must work well with classmates. Students will have a chance to discover and enhance their hidden talents through exploration of multiple intelligences. Students will have the opportunity to work as individuals and in teams to solve problems, mindbenders and brainteasers. The emphasis of this course will be on the problem-solving process and the discovery of personal strengths and learning styles. Students will take home grade level brainteaser games to continue to challenge, entertain, puzzle and amuse them to jump start their brains for the next school year.
21st Century Skills taught: problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, innovation, and creativity.
